WHAT IS ECOVIT?

ECOVIT is a natural fertilizer, soil conditioner and growth booster - an indispensable assistant to the efficient ecobiological production of plants. It is harmless to plants, animals and man.

ECOVIT is a completely natural, multifunctional product, developed after extensive scientific research and thorough field-testing carried out in conjunction with professional farmers over a period of more than 18 years.

ECOVIT contains natural mineral, organic and bioactive components. The interaction of these components with each other provides a permanent benefit to the quality and structure of soil. This improved soil condition and nutritional levels attracts the return of beneficial soil microorganisms (fungi and bacteria) and soil animals (earthworms).

Apart from nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K), ECOVIT contains other macronutrients such as Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg) and Sulphur (S); micronutrients such as Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Boron (B), Copper (Cu) Zinc (Zn), Molybdenum (Mo) and Chlorine (Cl), as well as trace elements such as Cobalt (Co).

How does ECOVIT work?

ECOVIT accelerates humus formation in the soil where the active ingredients are a key to soil structure, root development, plant vitality, nutrient availability and uptake.

ECOVIT when present in the soil will efficiently ensure that plants have at their disposal all macro and micronutrients necessary for optimal growth and development.

ECOVIT will also balance various nutrients present in the soil. Bioactive components present in ECOVIT will optimize various metabolic processes, ensuring excellent quality of the plants.

ECOVIT is the only product which activates the passive nutrient potential in the soils, which otherwise cannot be utilized by plants.

ECOVIT is approved for ecobiological production of plants in various European countries.

Soil in South Africa is deficient in organic matter, and in cases where soil analyses are not available, it is recommended to add about 2 kg/m2 of compost or stable manure with an application of Ecovit.

When to use ECOVIT?

ECOVIT should be applied at least 4 weeks before planting since it needs time to penetrate the soil and condition it. For indoor plants ECOVIT can be applied at any time.

ECOVIT starts to be effective 15 days after application and reaches optimal performance after 180 days. ECOVIT remains active for 4 years.

For outdoor plants, it is recommended to apply ECOVIT in two phases; first phase (70% of recommended dose) at the end of active vegetation and second phase (30%) at the beginning of active vegetation.

Where to use ECOVIT?

ECOVIT can be used on any soil for any type of vegetation and is used with great success in agriculture, landscaping, forestry, gardening, etc. Neglected gardens, vineyards and orchards can be revitalized by the use of ECOVIT.

How to apply and how much?

ECOVIT is applied to soil in the same way as mineral fertilizers - either manually or mechanically on the surface of the area that needs treatment. After application it is recommended to work ECOVIT into the soil to a depth of between 5 and 10cm.

STEP 1
    Measure out a recommended dose of ECOVIT.

STEP 2
Apply ECOVIT to the soil surface by hand or by machine.

    STEP 3
    Gently turn the surface soil.

The optimal dose of ECOVIT is 50g/m2 for all field crops, lawns, flowerbeds, and vineyards. For other applications refer to the table on the packaging.
